Very close to the Mediterranean and Benidorm, this mountain is both a challenge and a pleasure for hiking enthusiasts. The slope is not easy and the elevation gain is considerable, which is why it is considered one of the most demanding routes in the Valencian Community. There is an alternative circular route that does not climb to the top of the mountain, which is recommended for people with little experience. One thing is certain: the landscapes are spectacular and well worth the effort. It is more of a walk than a hiking trail, but it is a fantastic plan for the whole family to enjoy incredible views of Altea Bay. It starts at the Albir information point, follows a paved road, goes through a tunnel and then you will find several viewpoints, perfect for taking photos for Instagram! At the end of the route, we arrive at the Albir Lighthouse, which serves as the park&#8217;s interpretation centre.
